Carfilzomib (PR-171) is a proteasome inhibitor with IC50 less than 5 nM. Carfilzomib (CFZ, marketed under the tradename Kyprolis) is a tetrapeptide epoxyketone and a selective proteasome inhibitor. It is an analog of epoxomicin. The US FDA approved it for relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma on 20 July 2012.
